Goodbye at the Airport: A Mother’s Love in Transit

Description

Portrait – A memory of life
Each portrait we create is more than just a likeness—it’s a timeless piece of your story, capturing the essence of who you are in a moment that will never fade. Through every stroke, we seek to preserve not just your features, but the emotions, memories, and connections that make you uniquely you.

I captured this moment of my mom on the way to the airport, just after a joyful family holiday had come to an end. It was time for me to return to my life of study and work in another country. As always, my mom wore a smile, masking the ache of our parting, but I knew—deep in her heart—she didn’t want us to leave. She fully understands that we must live our own lives, and yet, her love and support never waver. It’s the kind of love that is unspoken but ever-present, the deepest and most unconditional love one could ever ask for. This moment, frozen in time, is a testament to that quiet strength and boundless affection.’
